Weather forecast for Reykjavik, the northernmost capital in the world, on landing Thursday, July 7, 2016: "Cloudy with showers. High 57F. Winds W 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 50%. Thursday night: clear to partly cloudy. Low 46F. Winds SSE at 5-10 mph."
I'll let you know if they are any better at predicting the weather in Iceland than over here.
For the most part we are expecting highs in the mid 50s and lows in the mid 40s. We are also expecting very little darkness. Who needs darkness? With so much to see and so little time, darkness is definitely overrated.
Maybe we will sleep in one of the numerous hot mineral springs that are found throughout the geothermally active island.
Stay tuned!
